3 miles by myself.  A week off since I was at the Civitan Youth Leadership Seminar at ISU all week.  Ran in my new shoes, but had a hip tweak so took it easy.

5 miles with the team at the first XC practice of the season.  Legs hurt a little.  I rolled them out and dad massaged them after I got home.

5 miles at practice for our yardsale run.  My legs felt better today because dad rubbed them out before I ran and because the run was pretty easy.

3 miles including a time trial today.  My lower legs (calf and shin) are really sore and this one was tough to finish.

Mom got me a physical therapist appointment for this week.

7.5 miles at practice.  Legs still sore but runnable at easy pace. Going to see a physical therapist tomorrow, work on my form and continue to roll, stretch and do weight work on my legs.

Our 18 hour relay today.  I was on the white team with 15 runners.  My four recorded 1600m splits were: 6:59, 6:55, 6:54, 6:54.  

I used the ice bath in the training room, my legs were cold and numb afterwards.

8 miles from school to Freeman Park and 3 hill repeats on the "w" then back to school. I finished off with barefoot striders.  Afterwards went to PT to help with my soleus.

We ran at Madison today.  Very smoky.  I ran in my flats and it was a good idea.  Got 9th overall on the team. Legs felt good but shins were burning at the end.  I think i will focus on one tempo run a week and a race so my body and legs do ok the rest of the season.

5 miles including 20 minutes of tempo, in the rain!  Loved it.

PT this morning, she said to limit my intensity for a while and gave me a note to give to coach.  He did not even look at it and said I still need to run his scheduled hard runs.
