My legs were hurting after each race. Dad helped masssage my calves to make them feel better.

Kids Tri Harder (1 Miles) 00:07:00, Place overall: 1, Place in age division: 1 | | I ran the Kids tri harder triathlon today. 200m swim, 4 mile bike ride and 1 mile run. I was the first girl and second overall as I completed the whole event in 30:00.
The first and third kids both did not ride the full number of laps in the riding part. I made sure I counted right and then I ran fast for the whole run. Very glad I did this even though it was raining hard right before we started. The rain stopped for the bike and run.

Nike Cross Northwest 3k MS race (1.85 Miles) 00:14:07 | | I ran the Nike Cross Northwest middle school race which is a 3k. My dad, Lauren and me ran the course before the race to see it.
There were lots of kids in the race from elementary to 9th grade. I ran hard and had fun and ran it in 14:07. It was hard and cold out, but I liked running in this big race.
Stayed around for most of the day to watch lots of the high school races. then back at the hotel Lauren, Luke and I played in the pool and hung out to really late. We had fun!
